What the Brits are saying!

What the Brits mean when they say:
that's it!that's all!
Der... the equivalent to the American 'duh'. Sama macam orang US kata 'duhhh'

Pratt...you pratt! Usually used in English (British) movies or American movie with some Brit star in it. Sounds rude but its actually quite harmless. Refers to someone who is out of line. Selalu dalam cerita mat salleh. Bunyi macam sedikit kurang ajar tapi tak ada apa2 pun. Dikatakan bila marah kat orang yang melampaui batas.

Its raining cats and dogs...refers to a heavy down pour. The word could probably be originated in the 17th century, when dead cats and dogs are usually carried out after heavy rainfall. Hujan lebat.

Bees Knees...I'm superb, I'm great, I'm the bee's knees. Aku terer:)

Bloke...that bloke over there >> that guy over there. leaki/jejaka...(lama tak guna perkataan jejaka..ahaks)

Bugger...Oh bugger!sh_ _ or d_rn...get lost. alamak, boleh blah.

Ace...something done brilliantly...he aced it! Dia score...dia dapat buat.

Bite your arm off...'don't bite your arm off just because you got the tickets!' expression used when you are excited. Jangan terlampau gembira.

Bloody...I bloody love this word. Are you bloody mad? another bloody monday...I bloody hate that bloke...to emphasize something that ranges from something you love to hate and disgust. Bukan darah tau! Perkataan yang boleh digunakan untuk menekankan sesuatu yang di benci, cinta, marah, suka sbg.

English Uk/US tak banyak beza, English jugak. Cuma bunyinya dan ada benda2 sikit yang lain. Jadi janganlah pening sangat over which English.

Baru teringat I pun ada gak tengok cerita bloody valentine ni last year.
Rasanya nama cerita tu takde maksud lain selain bloody valentine (valentine berdarah)...bila translate ke BM jadi macam pelik2 pulak. Sebab tu tak boleh nak translate direct...
