November promo and when to use some or any

Maaf baru-baru ni saya kurang sihat - ada emel & whatsapp yang saya mungkin terlepas...saya sudah emel dan jawab whatsapp kembali. Harap masih ada yang minat untuk belajar.

Sempena November ini, saya buat promosi kelas, 6 kelas x 50min untuk RM150, termasuk latihan pendek whatsapp 2x seminggu untuk 4 minggu. Kelas online bermula 10hb November ke atas. 

You boleh ambik 3 kelas perbualan dan 3 kelas pemahaman/penulisan atau topik tertentu you ingin belajar.Saya akan cuba ajar grammar asas sekali, membina ayat, tenses (penggunaan masa) dan menjelaskan parts of speech (pengunaan have, do, verb to be dll). dalam perbualan atau pemahaman.

When to use some or many? Bila untuk gunakan some atau many?

Some dan any boleh digunakan untuk countable dan uncountable nouns. klik sini untuk tahu apa itu countable dan uncountable nouns.

Some
1)Some digunakan dalam ayat bila kita tidak tahu bilangan tertentu sesuatu benda atau jumlahnya tidak penting. Ianya digunakan dalam ayat positif.

We have some vegetables in the fridge.
I have some money with me.

2)Kita juga gunakan some dalam soalan menawarkan/meminta.
Can I have some water? (meminta)
Would you like some sweets? (menawarkan)

Any
1)Digunakan dalam ayat negative dan soalan.

I don't have any money.
Does Amir have any sisters?

2)Digunakan dalam ayat dimana jawapannya tidak kisah yang mana satu.
When can I call you? You can call me any time.
Do you have any movie preferences? Any movie is good.
Is there any particular chocolate you want? Any chocolate is fine.

Monday came and left

Yup. Another day goes by...I bet most of you are relieved that Monday is gone :D

In my bored vs boring post,  E-One, asked me if I could explain:

1.Difference between perhaps and maybe
Basically, they mean the same thing, possibly. But your question is probably when you should use these words?
You can use them in the beginning of the sentence, middle, at the end or even use both in the same sentence - they are interchangeable. But perhaps is a little formal, so you may want to use it in report writing, formal replies,requests and leave may be to social stuff.
Maksud sama saja. Boleh diganti2 tempatnya. Tapi perhaps lebih formal.

2. Some and several
To me this is related to numbers. How I perceive it is that some means a certain unspecified number (time, person...unspecified).

Can you get me some coke?
I think there are some toys in the basket. 

Several means more than 2, but not less.
There are several empty bottles near the door.
Several of the kids are going to the library later.


some>benda yang tak tentu nombornya, masa, orang
Some man called you just now.
several > lebih dari dua...ada yang kata 4 hari ke atas.


Vocabulary:
interchangeable > able to be replaced, use in the place of each other.Boleh diganti tempat
